It’s time to move on.
Gillian and Pitch head back to the Jersey coast, looking for a safe passage home, or at least to get away from the human influence on the natural world. The oil slicked waters off the shore where they attempt to swim to freedom are filled with the dead, however. And some of those dead are still very hungry.
Gillian calls on an old friend to help her out, but first she has a lot to answer for, more to explain, and an old twisted ritual to cut through. No living creature is safe when humans interfere with the rituals of the fae.
